With the aid of an older person though you could also practice old-fashioned thrift though: interestingly this seems less an exercise in re-cycling and more the rediscovery of old techniques and designs. In fact, you could lose all track of time as you engage in a pursuit for which you find you have plenty of talent. On a quite different note, you may be asked to take part in an educational/ training project that would bring in useful extra cash - though it probably means doing some preparatory work over the weekend.
