Daily Horoscopes
Sunday 1st January 2006
Every 29-30 years, Saturn moves through your opposite sign (as now). These periods are generally not easy - as you've probably already discovered. 2006 though is not an action replay of most of 2005! Indeed, since October 26th, Jupiter has been moving across the top of your solar chart hopefully taking the edge off some of Saturn's discomfort. Over the next few days, Jupiter could 'do its stuff' once more and, by midweek, open yet another door to you. Monday through Wednesday is not the time to hide yourself away. The more effort you put out, the more you could net back in. That said, you could still feel challenged on Thursday and wonder if you can lay aside differences to work more closely with someone. You probably won't have much time to think about this. There's an 'all hands to the deck' feel to Friday. Administrative (health and safety??) matters require attention. There's also the not-so-small matter of dusting off your c.v. ready for an interview or ensuring you have the right facts ready for an exam.
Monday 2nd January 2006
Colleagues may be trying to interpret what you want. If they're fighting your case, you may wish they'd take a different tack. You might be at odds with friends and siblings - this time because they seem to be putting words into your mouth. Language and phrasing is at the heart of both problems. What you convey on the phone and in writing works best and could pave the way for a meeting later this week.
Tuesday 3rd January 2006
With a little bit of coaxing (and probably from someone born under Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn) you could start to talk about what it is that you want. You could confuse both yourself and your audience by contradicting yourself. Your sense of humour is at work though and, with help, you could arrive at a conclusion. The only snag then is running this plan past someone who's some distance away.
Wednesday 4th January 2006
Part of you may think you've stepped back into the shadows. Getting your message across whilst at a distance could yet prove a productive way of working. Using just a little 'spin' enables you to sell yourself. You might also sense that soon you'll be saying good-bye to a working scene. Ensuring that you leave this relationship well could also be a priority.
Thursday 5th January 2006
Impatience may be understandable - especially when you feel someone's being unnecessarily confusing about their plans. What you need is for someone to identify goals and state clearly what they expect from you. Your physical system might be a little out of sorts - perhaps because this 'impatience' is deeply unsettling. An Aries or Libra friend would at least show understanding.
Friday 6th January 2006
Someone close probably thinks you've lost the plot. Meanwhile a sibling or neighbour could have difficulty in understanding how you're processing issues of responsibility. The point about all this is that no-one can get inside your brain - but many will be trying to, by asking you question after question.
Saturday 7th January 2006
What's been bottled-up could now spill out - especially when someone acts without first consulting you. Patience with those born under the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) could drive this. They though, could be having difficulty following your logic. On the positive side: spicy or colourful food could have beneficial effect on you.
Sunday 8th January 2006
You may be in the mood for a struggle - which could make today ideal for sorting through junk - or even re-arranging furniture. The only snag with this is that you could uncover memories that you haven't quite dealt with yet. There's also the possibility of irritating relatives who aren't in the mood to deal with the past at all.
Monday 9th January 2006
Promising news on the work front may be tempered by concern about someone from a different generation who might need your help at short notice. An offer could be both lucrative but either involve travel or require you turn part of your home into a working area for a few weeks. In the midst of this, a neighbour may have news to celebrate.
Tuesday 10th January 2006
It's possible that you're being experienced as elusive - or will be criticised for not concentrating. You might be busy raiding your memory bank. Though it could be tomorrow before you make connections, what you do uncover today could revive a hobby - or even a romance. You might also be struck by someone's accent or vocabulary - which could provoke an unusual reaction in you.
Wednesday 11th January 2006
In reviewing your image, you might decide you need to try out yet another style. Aware that someone's not seeing you as you are today - and is holding on to an outmoded view of you, you could seek subtle ways of showing you've 'moved on'. You might also need to make clear that you're not harbouring misconceptions about them either.
Thursday 12th January 2006
Issues of freelance versus employment could be raised. You might also visit the premises of a large organisation - where you feel immediately at home. News from relatives could leave you fretful about their plans and wondering what logic, if any, they're applying. A colleague's tip about the advantages of a particular diet could have you intrigued about the qualities of a certain food.
Friday 13th January 2006
Dealing with a large company or institution seem likely - and could turn out to be a sport in which you excel. You may be able to effect a discount or money-back offer. Your persistence and knowledge of rules earns you respect. Concern for a relative some distance away, could prompt contact with someone who lives or works in that area. A friend's relationship could arrive at an interesting point - with you the first to hear their news.
Saturday 14th January 2006
The Full Moon in Cancer occurs around this time in every year - and, this time, could coincide with a need to clean up and clear out. What's interesting this year is that in the process you could come upon an object you'd forgotten all about and which is perfectly fashionable now. You might also be reminded of someone you used to know well - and might even pluck up courage to contact again.
Sunday 15th January 2006
Ok, with Mars and Jupiter at either end of the back-bone of your solar chart not only are you likely to feel stretched, you might also feel that it's up to you to do something about it. Finding a plan and, importantly, gathering together friends who can help you achieve it, could be high priority. In this, the advice of friends born under Capricorn and Scorpio could be very helpful.
Monday 16th January 2006
You may feel you're playing a waiting game. You might also feel that someone in a large organisation is playing cat and mouse with you. Knowing how best to spend your time (i.e. not allowing frustrations and irritations to get to you) might not be easy. On the other hand, in tackling a task that's needed attention for ages (sorting through a drawer or cabinet), you could uncover useful information.
Tuesday 17th January 2006
Discussion between you and those working within a large organisation could reach a new turning point. Presentation may matter more than you'd like. In an interview you could come across as really professional and almost exactly what's needed. If there is a problem, it's that you could be too 'picky' and even, possibly, indecisive. A Cancer-born friend may be able to offer useful tips as to how to make the most of the moment.
Wednesday 18th January 2006
Part of you might so lack energy that you really can't think of what to do in the next few minutes. Another part may be happy to day-dream and to plan an escapade. The 'referee' in you might shout at you to concentrate. It's this part that could be overheard by someone you've done business with and who can see that you'd be perfect in a particular role. They could use up some of their energy trying to persuade you to apply for a job.
Thursday 19th January 2006
You could achieve a small career break-through - and that in itself could give cause for celebration. You might be more pleased to hear from someone who's been travelling. You being you, you might need to probe the surface, double-checking that all's as well as it seems in every way. Is it possible that your perfectionist sub-personality is just going 'off on one'?
Friday 20th January 2006
Pleasure at news from someone presently a long way away could be muted by concern about their apparent lack of long-term goals. It's possible though that worrying about this is a means of deflecting attention from another concern: planning an adventure for yourself. An old book or a visit to a library could provide you with ideas.
Saturday 21st January 2006
You could feel a strong need to test your physical fitness - and might even find this happens without you making a conscious decision. In moving things around, you may discover a weakness. Your competitive streak could be aroused too: though it's as likely that you'll want to achieve a personal best as win a competition.
Sunday 22nd January 2006
There may be a financial incentive to completing a certain task. You might also decide that you need to make clear your feelings about an issue. So taking part in a group activity or even a rally could be another 'must do'. What's interesting is that you seem to be so much in the mood to 'do something' - which could endear you to those born under the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn).
Monday 23rd January 2006
Though someone may tease you and suggest you're acting like an inquisitor, the questions you ask have relevance. Irritation grows when someone's unable to tell you what they're looking for or want (a Scorpio?). You could get involved in a streamlining or space-clearing project that would simplify a working practice.
Tuesday 24th January 2006
It might really irritate you when colleagues don't actually 'see' the tasks that need to be done. You might have to accept that you think at a different pace though. Spelling things out - patiently - could be today's cosmic challenge. It would help if emotionally you weren't so fired up. Family matters provide a different kind of test - and once again require that you move at a different speed.
Wednesday 25th January 2006
Concern about an older relative could mount. If not that, then you could experience increased concern about an administrative system that's not up to the job. Either way, you could have more dealings with 'experts' than usual. Your way with words could catch someone off-guard too. Their defensive stand could leave you feeling that you need to challenge them further.
Thursday 26th January 2006
It might not be so easy to keep yourself in check spending-wise: especially when there are items around which might reduce your work-load. A small health alarm could go off too. Your immune and nervous systems may need over-haul. Contact with a travelling friend could raise your blood pressure too - especially when it seems they're leaving you to tackle an administration problem for them.
Friday 27th January 2006
Your resources could feel stretch and stretched again. Yet this might not stop you from going on a spending spree. The keyword should probably be 'balance' - but that might not be in today's vocabulary. With pressures mounting both at work (deadlines) and at home (looking after those who can't or won't fend for themselves), doing something just for you might seem to be a really good idea.
Saturday 28th January 2006
Thoughts of places and people far away may never be far from you. You might also be irritated that contact isn't as good or as clear as you'd like it to be. A financial matter could be troubling you too - though talking this through with a colleague could reduce your stress. Perhaps more interesting is that you might feel sufficiently aroused to take part in some sort of 'crusade'.
Sunday 29th January 2006
The seed of an idea that was probably planted early last March, could resurface. You might even be irritated with yourself for not having spent more time cultivating this. A colleague, who now has wind of your plans, may want to climb on board. This could be just the propellant you need. You could now 'rally the troops', discovering in the process that friends born under Aries really want to help and, on this occasion, are happy for you to lead the way.
Monday 30th January 2006
You could be under some kind of financial (tax/) pressure - that or you could get involved in a fight with an insurance company. In engaging with a large organisation or company you may need to know that the law is 'on your side'. To this end, you could make contact with an old friend who knows these ropes better than you do.
Tuesday 31st January 2006
A different kind of financial wave could envelop you today. Confusion about pricing or bank rates could leave you feeling high one minute and unable to cope the next. Once again you may need help. Those who're too practical might not give you the advice you need to hear though. You might need the services of a skilled 'pilot' who can bring your financial ship through the rocks to safety.
Weekly Horoscopes
Week Beginning Sunday 1st January 2006
Every 29-30 years, Saturn moves through your opposite sign (as now). These periods are generally not easy - as you've probably already discovered. 2006 though is not an action replay of most of 2005! Indeed, since October 26th, Jupiter has been moving across the top of your solar chart hopefully taking the edge off some of Saturn's discomfort. Over the next few days, Jupiter could 'do its stuff' once more and, by midweek, open yet another door to you. Monday through Wednesday is not the time to hide yourself away. There's also the not-so-small matter of dusting off your c.v. ready for an interview or ensuring you have the right facts ready for an exam.
Week Beginning Sunday 8th January 2006
This is probably not the easiest of times. Four planets are closely configured in the Fixed signs, possibly leaving those born under these signs (including you of course) feeling 'locked in'. Either through awareness of age, or possibly because of someone's inflexibility or even because you're concerned about another generation, it may be difficult for you to focus on more than this issue. Financial worries could play a large part. What you hear on Monday could give you hope that all will yet be well. Yet even this might warrant some travel or dealings with people at a distance. Choices could leave you feeling confused on Tuesday and asking for help from old friends and acquaintances on Wednesday. Thursday could bring different issues to you: you could surprise even those who think they know you well by undertaking a task that seems unusual - even for you. The wind could be taken out of your sails on Friday though when news reaching you makes it clear that the way in which an organisation is headed is not quite as you'd thought.
Week Beginning Sunday 15th January 2006
With Venus apparently moving backwards and through that area of your solar chart associated with 'big business' and large institutions, it may be that financially you're being held up, awaiting decisions from faceless people. Irksome as this is, a meeting or telephone call on Tuesday could nudge things along a little. Though you might still feel that you are being ignored, - and it would be very easy to think you've become invisible midweek - it's probable some progress will have been made. The only snag with this is that you might be asked to make a move that's never been on your radar. Much then depends on your flexibility and whether or not you can accept what could be a golden opportunity to make a name for yourself in a new sphere. The advice of a colleague you used to work with and who's familiar with new developments, could be invaluable on Friday.
Week Beginning Sunday 22nd January 2006
You probably know that you're 'ruled' (i.e. sensitive to) the movements of both Saturn and Uranus. On Friday, Saturn will lie opposite Saturn. At this, your birthday time, you're likely to be taking a serious view of the road ahead and wondering whether or not you're stuck in a groove from which there's no escape. Family and professional commitments could weigh heavy. Yet on Tuesday, Mercury makes one of its better aspects to Uranus (your 'other ruling' planet) and this could bring an offer and/or an unusual communication. Add this to a good aspect between Venus and Jupiter (now moving across the top of your solar chart) and it's just possible that this week's clouds will have silver linings. The attention to detail that you display on Wednesday and Thursday could set you apart from those who're fretting but doing little, and could bring extra points your way.
Week Beginning Sunday 29th January 2006
Sunday's New Moon is in your sign - and marks the start of the Chinese New Year. In a way, this is the real start of 2006. Much the same as January 1st though, a Saturn theme operates and celebrations might not seem appropriate. Indeed, you might not really be ready for a good time until Tuesday. From then on though, and with certain dilemmas at least understood if not resolved, you can move forward - and at pace. The middle of the week could bring news that puts you in a cheerier mood. The grand adventure you've promised yourself for 2006 could even take shape. Indeed, from having little to do, you could find yourself with too much to sort out on Thursday. Reading material, words, calls, and general communications could both excite and drain you. What then becomes obvious is that you need a new daily routine. With a working partnership evolving, this might rapidly be becoming more do-able.
Weekend (Love) Horoscopes
The Weekend of Friday 6th January 2006
Those born under the Fixed signs (you included), do seem to be under singular stress presently. Mars is at one end of the zodiac, Jupiter at the other and Neptune (working its way through your sign) is in the middle. It would be understandable if you felt entrapped. Even if you have a clear idea of what you'd like to be happening, it may be hard to make it so. This weekend news from siblings, neighbours and even childhood friends could take you unawares and trigger discomforting reactions: you might even feel tongue-tied. It might seem too that someone is insensitive to your feelings. However, it's possibly though that you too might 'put your foot in it' - especially on Saturday. Sunday brings with it a different kind of mood. This time news from someone you worked with last year could raise your spirits. They might also make a suggestion that would take your social life off in a new direction.
The Weekend of Friday 13th January 2006
On Sunday, Mars and Jupiter will once again straddle the back-bone of your solar chart. They do this just after the Full Moon and a fusion-moment of the Sun with Venus. The impact on your emotional, domestic and relationship-life, could be considerable. Yes, it's true that you could feel more than usually aware of lack. But if this is the case, it's probable that such a concentration of aspects will result in you being propelled to take action - signing on with a dating agency for example and/or deciding to make changes to your domestic arrangements. Voices from the past could play a key role on Saturday. In fact, it's likely to be one of these people who goads you into taking action to improve the quality of your life. In an on-going partnership, a variation on this theme could be that the two of you determine that it's time you made some future plans - even if these can't be acted on until you've more cash to play with. In short, it seems you're ready to seize control of your ship and to steer in a new direction.
The Weekend of Friday 27th January 2006
Let's focus on the good news: the Sun's in your sign (birthday time) and a special aspect forms between Neptune (still moving slowly through your sign) and Pluto - the planet of passion. So, there IS all to play for. What's tricky is that an aspect between Jupiter and Neptune could result in you experiencing an emotional extreme. OK, that could happen through too much party-spirit! But it could also be that you focus on what others appear to have - and a sense of lack. What you might need is to plot a grand adventure. And yes, this could be illicit or at least panned quietly. In fact, the whole idea of doing something that's for you - and which would allow you to be the best you could be, is such that you could decide to get involved in a (charity?) venture. This could take you to where you'd like to go - and bring you closer to those who think and feel like you.
Monthly Horoscope
The Month of January 2006
Yours is one of the fixed signs of the zodiac. Until 20th, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are travelling through the three other fixed signs. They're then joined by the Sun and Mercury in your sign: completing the set. The point about all this is that this is that such focus could put you under tension. This could result in a pressing need for you to stabilise finances - and considerable frustration when things don't appear to be going according to plan. You might even feel panicked around the time of the Full Moon (14th). Helpful and constructive news could reach you on 19th - but require a slight shift in priorities and direction. Resistance here might be futile though given that there are signs that financially progress could be made around 23rd. Family and general responsibilities could feel weighty again between 25th and 27th. Indeed, this could seem a dark tunnel. It appears short though with encouraging news reaching you on 28th and followed by more positive developments on 30th and 31st.
